Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs cleaning, pickling, degreasing, and other such operations in the preparation for subsequent operations.
  • Loads and unloads parts in racks and baskets. Moves parts through various baths and rinses either by hand or with power hoist.
  • Masks parts for plating and surface treating. Cleans parts before and after plating process.
  • Drains and cleans tanks, replaces solution, cleans related equipment and surrounding areas.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on tanks and equipment.
  • Performs work within standards of production.
  • Reviews own work for completeness and quality of workmanship.
  • Cleaning (add), Cleaning (Alkaline), Passivate (Processing), and Dry Lube (Application)
  • Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled

Basic Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma or GED Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • Familiar with EPA and AQMD rules and requirements preferred
