The Jr Account Manager will support the management of accounts and cover product offerings from AFS plants. Strong B2B customer connection and the ability to liaison with technical and manufacturing leadership is required. This role will act as the first point of contact with existing customers, answer their queries, and increase client satisfaction.

Essential Functions: Jr account management includes both tactical & strategic initiatives, examples include but are not limited to:
  • Gather information on assigned clients (e.g. company size, needs and pricing plans)
  • Contact clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan
  • Provide after-sales support to retain customers
  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
  • Build strong client relationships, through regular communication
  • Report on the status of accounts
  • Suggest company products/services that maximize client satisfaction
  • Communicate product and pricing details clearly
  • Coordinate with Account Executives and Account Managers to create customized sales plans for key clients
  • Promote new products/services to existing customers
  • Proactively heading off problems by anticipating the needs of the customer and problem solving to help drive overall customer satisfaction and representation of the business to our customer base.
  • Collaboration across departments; Customer Service, Sales & Marketing Management, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Quality and Cost Accounting, Credit Organization and Application Engineering disciplines, for the success of the business plan.
  • Travel to customer sites 25-50%
 
Essential Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Institution;
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service/sales and/or marketing and/or engineering experience;
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is in Business or Engineering, from an accredited institution;
  • Master's Degree
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry;
  • Commercial (sales/marketing) experience;
  • Strong customer relationship management skills and a proven track record of customer satisfaction.
