Job Description

The AEX IT Applications Project leader is responsible for production support and enhancing the AEX locations’ applications.  Responsibilities include investigating and resolving support issues, championing process improvements, creating specification documents, coordinating technical work, completion of compliance activities. This role will regularly collaborate with the IS counterparts across AEX and GRP to coordinate changes related to common systems. 
Major activities/Key challenges:
• Analyze, enhance, and supports business processes and IT applications
• Investigate and resolve support issues
• Partner with business users at all levels of the organization to develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes in their area(s) of assignment, and a general understanding of the AEX and GRP businesses
• Develop and enhance standard operating procedures and processes to ensure reliable delivery of information technology while championing process improvements
• Effectively employ project methodology and tools to deliver solutions and communicate status
• Operate within and influence IT standards and conventions and promote adherence within the IS organization
• Perform scheduled compliance activities and reviews
• Coordinate and prioritize technical work and creation of complex queries and reports using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education:
• Must demonstrate a solid understanding of systems architecture, hardware, operations, and system life cycle
• Must understand and follow project management methodology
• Must have strong human relation skills and be able to interact with internal and external customers at all levels, vendors, and other IT professionals
• Must demonstrate experience presenting solutions, both verbally and through written communications
• Must be able to develop & sustain strong customer relationships
• Must have experience with Oracle EBS application platform, including Inventory, WIP, and Order Management modules and the corresponding database tables, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Must have experience supporting purchased and custom-developed applications and packages

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• 5 years functional / technical experience creating and delivering technology solutions using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Inventory, WIP, and Order Management Oracle EBS modules and the corresponding database tables
• Experience supporting .NET applications
• Experience leading IT projects
• Experience with internal and external EDI and interfaces
• Experience with Oracle OSB
• Development experience via Oracle Forms and Reports
