We have an immediate opening for an Manufacturing Inventory Analyst/ERP at our Business Offices in Cleveland.
 
Under the direction of the AWTP Global Supply Chain Manager, this position provides ERP/Oracle Application support to Product Engineering, Marketing, Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and Outside Sources in support of business requirements. 


Primary Function:
This position manages & provides the foundation for ERP Items, BOM’s & Routing's for Inventory Control within Arconic Wheel and Transportation Products, North America.
 
Duties & Responsibilities include:
  • Work as part of a team to support EBS ERP (Oracle Item Set Up) by utilizing technically sound methods of investigation, analysis, design, planning, and scheduling while at the same time fulfilling the ASAT requirements. 
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer interaction to identify necessary ERP (Oracle Item Set Up) changes and recommend solutions to effectively and efficiently satisfy the data processing and information requirements of the business.  This should result in added value or cost reduction to the business.
  • Operate within AWTP Standard Procedures and conventions and the Arconic GIS standards and promote adherence with the IT organization.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes related to CVW and a general understanding of the AWTP business.
  • Create Prototypes based on New Development and or Changes to existing items as directed by engineering.
  • Be accountable for Oracle Item Set Up, in accordance with Wheel Releases, EBS, Purchasing, approved Machining and Polishing Sources, applicable forging, verification of weights, ECO implementation, Inactivation of Obsolete Items/Options. 
  • Be accountable for the implementation of Smart Categories and Demand Planning Categories as defined by the Marketing.  This involves setting up of all new SMART strings and Product Codes.
  • BOM/Routing maintenance to support accurate costing and alignment with the manufacturing product flow paths.
  • Provide continuous support in implementing and communicating EBS requirements dictated by upper management and IT teams.
  • Provide continuous support to management teams on various data analysis requests
  • Analyze inventory balances and transactions to ensure accurate inventory reporting in ERP/Oracle.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business applications.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a team environment on projects and applying organization specific know-how to achieve key operating results.
Acquired knowledge of manufacturing flow paths, supply chain planning processes and tools, and the desire to contribute to the implementation of a world class planning process that results in improved service, lower costs and optimized inventory.
