This opening is with Arconic, Whitehall Operations, a division of Arconic Engineered Structures – a world-class producer of titanium aero ingots and mill products—and a leader in highly-engineered, multi-material structures for aircraft. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our Plant 5 Ti-Cast engineering team as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern. This position will assist engineers with time studies, data gathering, CI initiative support, work station optimization activities, and support the manufacturing engineering initiatives.

Basic Requirements: 
•         A minimum of a Sophomore status and currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
•         Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
•         This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
Preferred Qualifications: 
•         Junior or Senior status preferred
•         3.0 GPA and higher
•         Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus
•         AutoCAD, CAD/CAM, and Solidworks experience a plus
•         Strong verbal and written communication skills
•         Excellent analytical skills
•         Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
•         Strong organizational skills
•         Basic knowledge of investment casting manufacturing process a plus
