Key communications activities and projects, including but not limited to:
  • Media relations support including writing, media research, story and pitch development
  • Assist in various social media projects including creating and distributing content, tracking metrics like engagement and reach, or monitoring and reporting insights.
  • Update intranet content, including research, writing and generating new fact sheets that are aligned with our brand pillars and key corporate initiatives, and developing an ongoing process to keep the facts up-to-date.
  • Support internal communications team with research, story development, writing internal stories, fact checking and planning and implementing communication initiatives.
  • Deliver short, visual communications content in our digital and print communications vehicles to share Arconic news ‘at-a-glance.' This starts with great writing, focused on engaging readers.
  • Support locations globally in connecting with employees by delivering company news in meaningful ways that reach operators locally.

Their skills are sharpened as full members of a project team, working alongside leaders in partnership with business unit clients. Interns are assigned projects based on their business unit specifications which will vary depending on location. Some of the highlights as a member of the team are business insights sessions with the Senior Leadership team across the organization, professional development opportunities, and plant tours, and social activities with other interns and colleagues. With over 50 locations across the US, there are opportunities to work in a variety places around the country. Internships typically run from May/June through August. Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree program
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Relevant internship/work/ research experience
  • Graduation date between May 2018 and May 2019
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
