Job Description

Job Summary
Responsible for incoming, in-process, and final inspections of all components.

Essential Functions
Limited dimensional inspection required using specific gauging.

Responsible for determination of accept/reject status of components as compared to Company instruction and/or customer requirements, throughout various stages of in-process work ensuring accuracy of all findings.

Job Responsibilities
Knowledge of, and adherence to, Company quality procedures.

Responsible for the completion of any/all routers and reports including computer reports in a legible and timely manner.

Responsible for the accurate interpretation of all inspection PMS’s with respect to coating/welding requirements.

Set-up programs and operate dot-peen equipment.

Will be expected to cross-train other Inspectors as needed or directed.

Transport cartons of work between operations as required.

Keep work area clean according to 6’S standards.

Adhere to all company safety rules and practices and wears protective equipment as directed.

Perform other job duties as needed or directed by management.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 month manufacturing experience.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have experience working in the Branford, CT facility.
