Our Cleveland operations located at 3960 South Marginal Road, is seeking an Inspection Services Operator for our Second Shift in the Tooling Business Center. This position is responsible for:
  • Operate automated inspection equipment to provide accurate and repeatable dimensional inspections in support of engineering and manufacturing operations.
  • Adherence to applicable quality standards, company policies and procedures, customer requirements, and safety initiatives is mandatory.
  • Cross-training across all dimensional inspection platforms required.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize structured light scanners, coordinate measuring machines, run software scripts.
  • Save inspection output and data files to appropriate location as directed.
  • Use discretion to schedule work flow based on priority and efficiency.
  • Cooperate with peers by participating in an active cross-training environment.
  • Utilize inspection software such as GOM and ATOS through operator kiosk controls or PC program interfaces.
  • Load customer product and recall part program to complete inspection.
  • Perform any post-processing of data as required.

    Basic Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution
    • A minimum of 1 year blue light experience
    • This position is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires US person status . ITAR defines US person as an US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder."), Political Asylee, or refugee. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.


    Preferred Qualifications

    Working knowledge of CMM / SLM preferred or comparable metrology experience

    Post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate are an asset.
