Arconic is currently in search of an Information Management Specialist-Quality to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) Operations business unit in Davenport, IA.

The Information Management Specialist-Quality will provide high level technical support and serves as the primary technical leader to a manufacturing area, laboratories or product line.

  • Support quality systems
  • Technical resource for connecting Customer requirements to Quality Systems and Laboratory processes and systems.
  • Quality Data management (running and compiling reports from multiple data sources, drive automation of reporting, analyzing test results, statistical analysis of process information, certification, etc)
  • Quality Assurance SPA for system improvement activities and deployment
  • Interpretation of multiple Customer Quality requirements across all product categories
  • Linking data systems (Oracle, Unisys, LIMS, eSpec, Shop Floor, etc) to ensure customer quality requirements are understood, met, and data properly saved/archived
  • Creating quality systems that allow transition from legacy computer systems to new systems


Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Information Technology or database experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines a U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working with data management
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to interpret customer quality requirements (i.e. test types, limits, specifications, etc.)
