Arconic Fastening Systems is looking for a Hydraulic Systems Specialist (Tooling, Installation, Training & Repair) to support AFS at customer locations to include demonstration and installation of tooling, technical and trouble-shooting support, and specialized training of customer's operators and maintenance employees in the maintenance and repair of AFS tools. Work with and assist engineering and sales representatives in analyzing customer problems; collaborate with engineering personnel in evaluating new designs for installation equipment. This position is virtual / home office based.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Designs and provides technical training on equipment usage, maintenance and repair for major customers.
  • Provides technical and troubleshooting support to customers on the complete fastener installation system.
  • Conducts product demonstrations, with Sales Representatives for customers, trade shows and other organizations as directed.
  • Provides technical advice and assistance to Sales Representatives
  • Sources and develops additional sales opportunities for AFS products whenever possible, at various levels of the customer's organization.
  • Makes periodic customer contacts to give recommendations on installation equipment products.
  • Provides input to Research and Development group on new tool designs and changes, and new and updated tooling.
  • Implement sales and promotional programs, new product information, etc. directed toward specific industry or customer business.
  • Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established environmental, health, safety, quality, and compliance standards
Home office / travel 75% +


Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate degree from an accredited institution. 
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience technical support of manufacturing systems including, repair and troubleshooting.   
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
