Arconic is currently in search of a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) business unit at the Lancaster Works facility in Lancaster, PA.

The HRBP will report to the HR Manager, and is responsible for improving employee engagement, staffing (job postings, interviewing, selection), compensation, performance coaching, investigations, and supporting day-to-day needs of large departments. HRBP will partner with departmental leadership to achieve their People and Business plans and work on both strategic and tactical goals. While work hours would be primarily day shift, Monday through Friday, this job requires schedule flexibility to attend to HR needs on all shifts and weekends, as required. Limited travel may be required as well.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-stop HR support for assigned department(s) and area(s) of functional responsibility.
  • Provide timely counsel / communication to customers, as well as be responsible for various people metrics and overall positive employee relations
  • Responsible for taking action to ensure that all employment practices under his/her control, including hiring, promotions, demotions, and discipline are conducted in compliance with equal employment opportunity laws, and Arconic policy and values.
  • Responsible for plant-wide leadership of select HR initiatives
  • Stay current with local, state, and federal laws, rules, regulations and statutes governing equal employment opportunity practices.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of three years' Human Resources responsibilities
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Engineering, or Sciences from an accredited institution
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
