Arconic is currently in search of a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) Operations business unit I Alcoa, TN.

Arconic’s Global Rolled Products Business is a leading manufacturer of highly-differentiated aluminum sheet and plate products for the aerospace, automotive, commercial transportation, brazing and industrial markets. Our Alcoa, Tennessee facility has recently completed an expansion to serve customers in the growing automotive market.

The HRBP will report to the HR Manager at our Alcoa, Tennessee facility. This person will be responsible for full scope HR activities for one or more departments at the Tennessee facility including employee engagement, staffing (job postings, interviewing, selection), salary planning, organizational development and coaching, deployment of teams, investigations, and supporting day-to-day needs of departments within the location. The incumbent will work directly with department managers as a partner in achieving their strategic and tactical goals.

  • Reporting on metrics, as well as be actively engaging in department activities in his/her areas of responsibility.
  • Provide timely communications / counsel to the departments in their respective areas, and be the designated HR contact for key initiatives.
  • Take action to ensure that all employment practices under his/her control, including hiring, promotions, demotions, and discipline are conducted in compliance with equal employment opportunity laws and Arconic policy.
  • Stay current with local, state and federal laws, rules, regulations and statutes governing equal employment opportunity practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 3 years’ human resources experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. citizen, U.S Permanent Resident (i.e Green Card holder), Political Asylee or Refugee.
