Arconic is currently seeking an experienced and energetic HR Business Partner to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) HR team in Alcoa, TN. Arconic’s GRP Business is a leading manufacturer of highly-differentiated aluminum sheet and plate products for the aerospace, automotive, commercial transportation, brazing and industrial markets. Our Alcoa, Tennessee facility has recently completed an expansion to serve customers in the growing automotive market.

The HRBP will report to the Sr. HRBP, GRP HQ and is responsible for providing full scope HR support to selected functional groups within the Headquarters organization, and manage key HR processes across GRP.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Provide Business-Based HR Support for one or more customers within the GRP Headquarters organization
  • Collaborate with GRP HR and Corporate resources in managing certain GRP processes and initiatives
  • Coordinate Year-end Compensation processes within Corporate policy and GRP guidelines. The position is the Global Compensation SPA for GRP
  • Support on-boarding of new BBHR members on compensation matters
  • Assist with capturing, tracking and reporting on key metrics for GRP
  • Lead various HR reporting activities across GRP
  • Manage GPS/HR system security access and compliance for GRP
  • Develop tools, processes and procedures working closely with our internal customers, BBHR, people shared services and the Corporate RU SPA’s to assist with completion of responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of human resources experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with HRIS Reporting, dashboards, and recruiting analytics
  • Prior experience analyzing multi-functional HR data
  • Degree in finance, business, or IT is preferred
  • Experience managing year end or annual compensation for a large, global organization
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to understand issues domestically and internationally and communicate effectively
  • Capability to forge strong, trusting, collaborative relationships
  • High degree of interpersonal skills to be able to motivate and influence others
  • Experience as a change agent with a focus on continuous improvement
