Our advanced aerospace facility in LaPorte, Indiana is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who has demonstrated the ability to achieve results in several key HR functions and has a passion to put that experience to work and have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities.  HR Generalist responsibilities will require you to apply your broad knowledge of HR and hands-on expertise with demonstrated results in several of the following functions/HR Processes:
  • Promote positive employee relations, building and enhancing an environment in which employees are actively and willingly engaged in helping improve the business
  • Support the recruitment, staffing and talent management initiatives for the location
  • Ability to prepare effective strategic communications
  • Assist with benefits administration and work with employees to answer benefit related questions
  • Ensure compliance with EEO/AAP, FLSA, and FMLA
  • Partner with Operations and HR team to coordinate training plans including on-the-job training, new hire orientation and job specific training programs
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR data analysis and HR reporting
  • Assist with all aspects of employee relations
  • Provide back-up payroll administration support
  • Perform other HR duties as assigned



Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 
  • Minimum of 3 years' Human Resource experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
