Arconic is currently in search of a Gulfstream 550 Pilot in Command to join our Security Transportation Unit in West Mifflin, PA.

Job Description:
 
The primary roles of the Gulfstream 550 Pilot-In-Command, will manage and operate the company aircraft in meeting the transportation requirements of Arconic executives, personnel, customers and guests.  The incumbent will assist the aircraft occupants with their logistical needs as necessary while away from home base.  The incumbent is also responsible for assisting the Aviation Department Manager with normal activities.
 
Major Activities/Key Challenges:
  • Accountable for the safe conduct of assigned flights.
  • Manage and operate the company aircraft in meeting the transportation requirements of Arconic executives, personnel, customers and guests.
  • Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, and executing all operational and logistical aspects of each flight.
  • Assist the Aviation Department Manager with normal activities.
 
Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education:
  • Must have good communication skills to coordinate all aspects of flight operation with flight crew members, scheduling, executive assistants, and passengers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot License
  • Must have a minimum of 5000 hours total flight time
  • Must have at least 3000 hours flight time in turbine powered aircraft
  • Must have a valid 1st class FAA medical certificate
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Jet Type Rating Preferred – Gulfstream 550
  • International experience preferred
  • Atlantic/Pacific Ocean crossings as a crew member preferred
  • Automated and glass cockpit experience highly desirable
