Job Description:
We’re currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic graphic design student to join our team for a part-time co-op opportunity within our marketing group. A co-op at Arconic allows students to be a part of dynamic and innovative projects, while providing ample mentoring and professional development opportunities. Working alongside subject matter experts, our co-ops have the opportunity to sharpen their skills through hands-on learning. An co-op with Arconic will provide you with invaluable experience that you could utilize in any role, and it is Arconic’s goal to evaluate its interns for potential entry-level openings. With over 60 locations across the US, there are opportunities to work in a variety of places around the country.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager, Commercial Vehicle Wheels, this position is accountable for developing various marketing materials for digital and print use. Examples of projects: video editing, promotional materials, Pardot email templates, Pardot landing pages. These may consist of developing new design concepts, graphics, layouts, and animation. Along with strong conceptual skills and ability to work with a wide range of media and proven graphic design experience, incumbent must possess mid to high level of proficiency of understanding and translating marketing messages into visual communications.
•       This position is a part time role with flexible hours.  The duration of the assignment will be through May 2019, with the possibility to extend through summer 2019 based on performance and business need.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
 
•       3.0 GPA and above
•       Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
•       Prior work experience.
•       Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Visual Communication & Design with an expected graduation date of August 2019, December 2019, or April/May/June 2020
•       Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
•       This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
•       Experience with industry standard editing software (Adobe Suite, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).
•       Experience with video editing software.
•       Experience with CSS, HTML.
•       Experience with Pardot or email marketing campaigns platforms is a plus.
•       Ability to work with Solidworks software is a plus.
