Job Description

Primary Purpose of the Job:

This is a position in the Global People Systems (GPS) support organization. This position is responsible for the system support of the global talent management processes. This includes the administration of the talent management processes, as well as system configurations and setups, troubleshooting of issues, patch and upgrade testing, etc.

Major activities/Key challenges:

  • This position will also be responsible for the remediation of Talent Management reporting issues. This includes troubleshooting of reports, oversight of new report creating, and granting approvals for any global report requests.
  • Assist the HRMS helpdesk in other areas as needed.
  • Primary backup to the Global Security Track lead to ensure knowledge on the security process.
  • Provide configuration and functional process support to company resource unites and business units using GPS Talent Management module and the associated standardized processes and services.
  • Provide full time support of talent management processes during peak cycles-this includes November/December IMPACT (end cycle review), beginning of year PLAN (goal setting), and recurring CONNECT meetings. This includes setup/running of processes/postings of processes/troubleshooting/follow ups/etc.
  • Provide support to all regions on the administration of their talent management processes.
  • Documentation for talent management processes will be developed by this position and will need to be maintained on an on-going basis. This position will also be involved in end-user training, assisting the COE.
  • Participating in the overall governance structure for GPS.
  • Provide support for the creation of new report, remediation and enhancing of existing reports, and developing sustainable solutions for any current processes using workarounds.
  • Support deployment onto and divestiture off of company businesses or locations on the GPS talent management modules.
  • Heavily involved in the ongoing patching and upgrade cycle.
  • Establish and maintain global standards for configuration, deployment and utilization of the GPS talent management module, and reporting solutions.
  • Continuous improvements of talent management and reporting solutions across the HR user community.
  • Manage internal customer service activities, including testing.

Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of talent management, HRIS, and applicable reporting
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of systems design and configuration related to Oracle HR
  • Process improvement, quality management, systems & process control
  • Function in a complex matrix management organization

  • Vendor partnership, including strong relationship with Oracle support

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years' work experience in HR, IT, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 1 year HR systems analyst experience.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Solid Communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Oracle reporting solutions (Discoverer, BI Publisher, 6i reporting).
  • Demonstrated experience with process documentation and process improvement.
  • 3 years progressive experience in a multi-business unit and/or a shared services environment.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and think analytically.
