How your typical day would go:

  • Application and usage of Oracle financial modules.
  • Application of the common Chart of Account for European Arconiclocations.

  • To follow up standards and recommendations of Financial ManagementHandbook and country specific requirements of locations.

  • Working with consideration of the local fiscal requirements.
  • Reconciliation / correction of daily financial transactions, entering ofthe manually completed transactions into Oracle Financial modules.

  • Execute tasks/accounting entries initiated by SSC’s customers.
  • Settlement of the problems with locations, ask help if problem solving isbeyond him/her.

  • Regular contact with customers of the Shared Service Center (SSC).
  • Provide reports and statistics required by locations on timely manner.
  • Perform month end closing related activities.
  • Contributes to the development and improvement of procedures.

  • Secondary school certificate specialized at finance and accounting or CPAcertificate

  • Degree in finance or accounting obtained at a college or university isadvantage

  • Excellent English knowledge
  • 1-3 years of working experience in financial field
  • Good initiation, problem solving and communication skills. Independenceand acceptance of new challenges are required.
