Job Description

•        Reviews and distributes production orders to meet productions schedule, quantities, and specifications of products for delivery.
•        Uses production plan for operations and prioritizes shift production sequences for manufacturing materials.
•        Uses operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
•        Assists Superintendent to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
•        Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
•        Apprises Superintendent of issues regarding standard work procedures (SWPs) and working practices.  Observes workers to ensure compliance with standards and provides feedback to employees and management.
•        Resolves worker related problems, documents personnel issues, and submits to Management for final for approval.
•        Maintains data for production on shift.
•       Directly supervises production and maintenance employees.  Responsibilities include; new employee orientation, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; giving both verbal and written warnings in accordance with Company Policy.
•       Other duties may be assigned.


Basic Qualifications
•       High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution 
•       Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
•       Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
•       This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications

•       Associates Degree from an accredited institution 
•       Knowledge and skill in supervisory practices and principles
