Job Description

Job Summary:
Track and maintain tooling for the release of material into production.  Prepare work order for releasing.  Coordinate, control and facilitate the flow of work through the production process from point of release to the stock room.
Fundamental Duties:
•         Track and maintain tooling
•         Look up tools and apply them to the work order
•         Use a micrometer/caliper
•         Look up mapping
•         Train others in this position
•         Receive incoming parts
•         Maintain Excel tracking spreadsheet
•         Maintain work order priority visibility through updates to work order jackets
•         Utilize SAP for locating, tracking and updating work order status
•         Other duties relating to production as assigned by the supervisor
Skill & Competency Requirements:
•         Must stand, walk, and use hands to handle materials
•         Required to read and interpret production orders and safety, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals
•         Required to read tooling, mapping, and work orders
•         Must have basic knowledge of math, math equations and use of various measuring instruments
•         Must work a full-time schedule and overtime as required
•         Must have basic computer skills
•         Must have problem solving skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work with others
•         Prior experience with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and scales is preferred but not required
•         SAP, Excel, MS Word, and Outlook experience is preferred but not required
•         Production planning/control experience preferred by not required
•         Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and be able to work with minimal supervision


Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
