Arconic Global Rolled Products (GRP) is seeking a strong Financial Analyst with high energy and drive. This position is accountable for Group and/or Business Unit requirements related to consolidation and reporting, participation in and contribution to the forecast and annual planning routines. The ideal candidate for this position is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized; assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position. This role is high-visibility with Arconic Group Finance Leadership and reports to the GRP Reporting & Analysis Manager. This position is based in Cranberry, PA. Position Profile: This position will support the preparation and analysis of financial reporting including financial plans, forecasts and the analysis of operational results. The Financial Analyst understands and participates in the creation of management reporting as well as performs financial analysis to develop a comprehensive understanding of the GRP business and related matters. The essential functions for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Implement and run financial models and reports to drive business decisions and continuous improvement to finance tasks.
  • Provide weekly and monthly roll up of forecast for GRP locations and HQ.
  • Assist in the creation of executive presentations.
  • Support the annual planning process, providing understanding and alignment across broader finance teams and business segments.
  • Drive process standardization and improvements.
  • Support and participate in ad-hoc analysis on business performance and plant standards with potential impact to consolidation accuracy.
  • Apply analytical skills to interpret financial results and determine issues critical to the success of operations and GRP.
  • Participate in or lead special projects as business needs. 
Essential Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Accounting — Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Mastery of Technology Skills — Accounting and Finance software: Hyperion, Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP; Spreadsheet software: Microsoft Excel; Office Suite software: Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced experience in Excel and PowerPoint including VBA, complex formulas and Think Cell
  • Experience with Oracle (Hyperion, SmartView, EBS General Ledger & Discoverer)
  • Proficiency in system which tracks and manages cost savings and benchmarking actions throughout the business in different areas (Productivity, Growth and Cash initiatives)
