Arconic is in search of a Financial Analyst to join our Acquiring Talent Program (ATP). ATP participants focus on developmental projects and assignments that provide unique experiences in preparation to fill critical roles throughout Arconic. The first rotation of this program will be in Lancaster, PA.
Financial Analysts in the ATP will work on projects that support plant operations, identify, develop and improve processes that support business needs, and achieve professional growth through mentoring and cultivating collaborative relationships with experienced leaders during a one-year assignment in a two-year program. After successful completion of the first rotation, this position will relocate to another U.S. based GRP location.
  • Perform monthly and weekly budget updates, post month end accruals and inventory movements
  • Provide financial analysis on product costing and customer profitability to plant management and marketing and sales departments
  • Apply analytical skills to interpret financial results and determine issues critical to the success of operations and GRP
  • Work with and provide financial support to manufacturing and support departments
  • Support and participate in monthly closing activities, account reconciliations, inventory accounting transactions, inter-company accounting, fixed assets accounting
  • Support and participate in physical inventories, self-assessed audits and compliance testing, annual audits
  • Assist in preparing ASATs
  • Develop and analyze burden budgets and standard costs
  • Provide monthly financial forecasts and participate in the annual planning processes
  • Prepare analysis for area’s capital projects and ad-hoc reports
  • Drive process standardization and improvements
  • Special Projects for the Plant as assigned by the Plant Controller


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics from an accredited institution;
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Master's Degree MBA, CPA/CMA
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role, highly preferred in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with standard costing systems (such as Oracle, SAP, or AS400) and budgets
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (such as:  Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Experience with Enterprise Business Systems (such as Oracle or SAP)
  • Experience with database query tools such as Microsoft Access, Oracle Discoverer, Hyperion, Essbase, Smartview and/or other related programs
