Position Summary:
Arconic is currently in search of a Finance Project Manager to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) Operations business unit in Texarkana, TX. This position is to set up and maintain the finance systems connected to the plant expansion in accordance to Arconic’s Finance Management guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the project (plant expansion) from a Finance and Accounting point of view;
  • Develop and maintain inventory subledger accurately separating Cast House and Finishing departments;
  • Develops monthly forecast and prepares annual operating plan for location;
  • Maintain financial, inventory tracking and cost control systems to provide accurate and timely information;
  • Develop and maintain customer billing for new department.
Financial Impact:
  • Position must exert control over assets, revenues, purchases, capital, and operating budgets of the location.
Critical Competencies:
  • Possess strong communication abilities and human relation skills;
  • Sound technical knowledge of standards and location costing;
  • In-depth knowledge of Texarkana product mix, production flow paths, and organizational operation;
  • Excellent PC skills including Excel, Access, and use of pivot tables;
  • Excellent Hyperion skills/FAST skills;
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ledger, CoA, Oracle Projects, Oracle RTP, Oracle OTC;
  • Working knowledge of mainframe standard systems, P/E build up, inventory systems, revaluation, and burden budgets;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Sound understanding of BU rules;
  • Sound understanding of GAAP, Arconic’s accounting rules;
  • Ability to design complex decision support and forecasting tools to analyze data quickly;
  • Apply analytical skills to interpret financial statements and trends to management;
  • Tenacity, attention to detail, out-of-the box thinking, forward thinking, critical thinking, getting organizational support, ability to work in ambiguous environment.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role;
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution;
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA);
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in an accounting role;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment;
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience creating and leading projects;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience setting up and implementing finance systems.
