Job Description

Job Summary:
Prepares parts for shipment to customers including crating, identifying, and shipping. Receives supplies, parts, tooling, dies, and other items by unloading trucks and notifying recipient. Take out or put away parts in stock area.
Fundamental Duties:
•         Examines parts and verifies that they match the paperwork.
•         Reads various work orders and operational records and enters such data as customer specifications.
•         Package parts for shipment.
•         Reports shortages of parts and subassemblies to designated department.
•         Obtains spare parts from stock room and forwards them for packing and crating.
•         Puts away parts in stock room as necessary.
•         Loads crated or loose parts to assure completion of order.
•         Receiving shipments and processing related paperwork.
•         Load and unload trucks with forklifts or handcarts.
•         Employee will be expected to handle waste material properly and ensure proper container, labeling, storage and shipping procedures are followed per the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Alcoa Titanium Engineering Product (ATEP) procedures.
•         Employee may be required to respond to chemical, oil or acid spills appropriately using onsite spill response and training provided in accordance with RCRA and ATEP procedures .
•         Other duties as assigned
Skill & Competency Requirements:
•         Required to read tools, mapping and work orders
•         Required to read and interpret production orders and safety, operating, maintenance and procedure manuals
•         Must have basic knowledge of math, math equations, and use of various measuring instruments
•         Must work a full-time schedule and overtime as required
•         SAP and Excel experience is preferred but not required
•         Must have basic computers skills
•         Must have problem solving skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work with others


Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
