Arconic is currently in search of an Estimating Functional Lead, to join our Kawneer business in Norcross, GA.
Kawneer is the leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum products and systems for the commercial construction industry. Kawneer is part of Arconic’s global Building and Construction Systems (BCS) business unit, which manufactures and markets architectural systems and products in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. 
Working with the Commercial Technology Team, External Customers, and the IT Management Team, the Estimating Functional Lead reviews and analyzes enhancements to KawneerDirect specifically as it relates to KNA estimating practices and processes, to provide functional expertise and analysis of proposed solutions. Also, offers creative solutions to improve process efficiency in the web quoting and internal quote processing functions.
Major Activities
  • Collaborate with other business functions.
  • Perform detailed analysis of KawneerDirect enhancement requests from an external customer and KNA estimating process perspective.
  • Analyze systems issues to determine root cause, propose and evaluate solutions, gather user feedback, and lead the solution testing effort.
  • Support web site testing, test scripting and test results documentation.   
  • Support end users of eCommerce web site, KaluCad, and PIMS for commercial architectural systems
  • Work with business leaders and end-users to identify and resolve training or process improvement opportunities


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited institution
  • 3 years of experience in KaluCad/V6 estimating experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT
  • Experience and knowledge of front end order processing systems. PIMs, JD Edwards
