*Hiring for 2nd shift (3-11 PM) and 3rd shift (11PM-7AM)*

Position Summary
: Machine line change overs, installs tools and workholding. Uploads CNC programs, Involved in set-up of machine tools such as lathes and milling machines. Utilizes strong knowledge of the working properties of metals, and skill with machine tools to prepare the operations necessary to produce precision machined aluminum wheels.

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Essential Duties:
  • Engineering Techs will be assigned to specicficied machine lines.
  • Responsibilties to include:
  • Machine line change overs
  • After line change assures parts meet specification, cycle times are correct and line is running
  • Provide hands-on technical support when diagnosing machining problems with equipment or processes
  • Responds to requests for help from production cell leaders when machined parts do not meet specification
  • Adjust feeds, speeds and tooling to ensure quality product
  • Cycle time, tooling and process improvements
  • Maintain cycle times and fixture components
  • Set up and adjust equipment to machine product to blue print specifications
  • Ability use gauges such as micrometers and calipers, and confers with quality control personnel to gain approval of sample for production.
  • Load and test CNC programs
  • Troubleshoot machining problems
  • Test new tooling and processes
  • Additional duties as assigned
Position Criteria
  • Ability to read and understand process sheets and or blue prints
  • Ability to offset machines to the correct part dimensions
  • Ability to use hand tools to complete machine set up
  • General understanding of G and M codes
  • General understanding of CNC programs



Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of one year experience in high-volume CNC machining environment
  • Minimum of one year experience with using gauges and making offsets to CNC machines
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.


Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months experience working with 3 axis milling machines
  • 6 months experience with CNC programming G codes and M codes
  • 6 months expeirence working with 5 axis milling machines
