This opening is with Arconic – Whitehall Operations, a division of Arconic Engines – a world leader in the investment casting of superalloys, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts primarily for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbine markets.

This position is located at Plant 3, Whitehall Castings Operation.
Responsibilities include:
  • Design water jet fixtures, robot end of arm tooling, wax set-up fixtures, wax assembly fixtures, wax gating dies, auto-wall fixtures, SCAR Tooling, Hermle CNC fixtures, NPI mold gating designs
  • Haas CNC programming
  • Wire EDM programming


Basic Requirements:  
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Successfully meet the standardized TABE testing requirements. If applicant possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Actively enrolled in an Engineering related associate degree program from an accredited institution
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Access, Microsoft Office and Mini-Tab.
  • Experience working with CAD / NX / Unigraphics.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment and have good organizational skills.
