Job Description

  • Diagnose comprehensively hydraulic, pneumatics equipment and combustion system problems and make necessary repairs both mechanical and electrical.  Diagnose comprehensively adjustable frequency drive problems, troubleshoot to board level.  Adjust and tune all parts of the system.  Diagnose and repair comprehensively, both hardware and software, on programmable controllers and operator interface terminals.  Pumping systems: demonstrate ability to troubleshoot pumping system problems, rebuild pumps & pumping system components, diagnose valve related issued and pump failures.  Troubleshoot, repair and or replace AC/DC motors, drives and related electrical starters, contactors or relays.  Ability to test motors with a Meggar.  Be fluent with Allen Bradley PLC for control Logix and Compact Logix.  Allen Bradley Variable Frequency Drive training related to 500 and 700 series drives.  Ability to read and create drawings and schematics.   Perform routine inspections, preventive and proactive maintenance and root cause failure analysis in a wide range of equipment.   Able to work in a team environment.  Produce written reports, memos and training outlines.   Direct and train other maintenance associates through OJT.   Perform other related duties as directed by department supervision.
