This position will be responsible for electrical design of control systems for complex special casting-related and automation equipment to specific customer requirements. Significant supplier, customer, and management contact expected. Knowledge of the manufacturing process and the ability to handle technical issues. Help to coordinate support and installation of various projects. Provide engineering support for projects both internally designed and built and external.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 months electrical co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution in the following disciplines preferred: Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • PLC programming experience
  • HMI programming experience
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC & RSLogix
  • Experience with Wonderware, Labview, & Intellution
  • Knowledge of Electrical distribution systems for voltage below 600V
  • Proficient user of AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical
  • Experience with industrial robots, Motoman or other
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and NFPA 79
