Arconic BCS manufactures and markets architectural systems and products in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.  Arconic is the world’s leading producer and manager of primary aluminum, and alumina facilities, and is active in all major aspects of the industry.  
We have an immediate opening for a EHS Manager for the Eastman, GA Arconic Architectural Products (AAP) plant.  Reporting to the General Manager, the EHS Manager supervises and directs daily EHS functions for AAP Eastman, GA.
Major activities/Key accountabilities:
  • Ensuring the Environmental, Health, and Safety activities reduce risk, eliminate incidents are performed within external regulatory requirements and internal management guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and document EHS programs in accordance with local, State, and Federal EPA and OSHA requirements; and in compliance of Arconic policies and management systems.
  • Prepare, submit, and document all EPA and OSHA reporting requirements, up to but not limited to the OSHA 300 Log, SARA 311, 312, and 313 Annual Reports, Hazardous Waste Generators Annual Report, and Air Emissions Annual Inventory Report.
  • Accurate submission and completion of all Eastman incident reporting to Arconic within designated deadlines and reporting process guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit all Arconic required monthly and quarterly performance index reports and metrics.
  • Develop, conduct, oversee and supervise EHS training, including external regulatory and internal management programs.
  • Approve the procurement of EHS services for Waste Characterization and Disposal, PPE, I/H, Noise Testing, Training Resources, and any other Environmental, Health, and Safety vendors as required.
  • Acquire and maintain accredited training needed in areas related to EHS for training, report submittal, and general awareness.
  • Liaison for Arconic, regulatory agencies, and outside vendors for Environment, Health and Safety.
  • Ensure environmental permit conditions are understood, implemented and enforced.
  • Ensure supervisors and department employees attend all required training.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering or EHS from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years professional exp in H&S,
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office tools especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour general industry certification
  • Certified Safety Professional designation
  • Prior experience with Human Performance
