Arconic is currently in search of an eDiscovery Specialist to join our Global Information Services (GIS) Resource Unit in Pittsburgh, PA.
 
 
Position Description:
Arconic is currently in search of an eDiscovery Specialist to join the Global Information Systems (GIS) group in Pittsburgh, PA. The primary purpose of this role is to provide critical professional support for the company’s eDiscovery activities and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: 
 
  • Facilitate eDiscovery coordination with data centers, ISD, custodians, and the Legal department.
  • Manage the company’s ongoing eDiscovery and Legal Hold Processes.
  • Coordinate an inventory of electronically stored data on removable media storage and document via chain of custody forms.
  • Document the company’s Legal Hold Processes and maintain associated spreadsheets, databases, and procedures.
  • Conduct Self-Assessment and Audit functions to ensure quality.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of removable media devices and chain of custody from point of collection to production.
  • Pack and transfer electronic data to offsite secure storage or to outside litigators for production.
  • Maintain master list of legal holds by matter ID and hold status.
  • Catalog all evidence collected and produced/exported to outside counsel.
  • Monitor notices and reminders as sent over course of a hold, confirming received, when sent/received.
  • Release electronically stored data when notified.
  • Assist with triage of Data Loss Prevention event notices
    • Work with the response team to address alerts
    • Serve as a liaison between the team and stakeholders in the business
  • Lead Arconic’s security awareness program (training and education)
    • Work with vendor to design training exercises
    • Communicate internally with key stakeholders on campaign activity
    • Generate metrics to share with leadership to demonstrate performance
    • Communicate security awareness to employees and leadership
  


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, forensic science or information technology
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of Hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months experience coordinating legal holds for a large, global company.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with eDiscovery processes and policies
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills to create and proofread documentation for the Legal Hold Process.
