Arconic Fastening Systems is seeking a Customer Support Supervisor. Essential Job Duties:
  • Supervise Customer Support Team, which includes training, distributing work-load, setting priorities, assigning accounts, vacation scheduling for the department, covering for absences, assisting CSR’s with various problems and ensuring that procedures are followed, and customer requirements are met.
  • Daily interaction with customers which includes preparing quotations/LTA packages, following up on customer orders as well as handling critical delivery issues, and performing data entry as needed.
  • Manage team and work with various departments/plants to generate quotes, capture business, and address customers problems
  • Travel to visit customers, AFS sites, and attend monthly Business Reviews, as required.
  • Responsible for internal and external audits relating to Customer Support procedures.
  • Develop reports and distribute data as required.
  • Manage multiple projects at a time.
  • May act as the back-up for the Customer Support Manager.
  • Work with AFS Credit on past due invoices, etc.  Perform necessary research to resolve credit problems.
  • Support goals and objectives of the Sales and Marketing Department.
  • Daily Interaction with upper management within and outside the department.
  • Must be familiar with customer’s terms and conditions and long-term agreements.  Possess an understanding of contract language.
  • Builds good relationships with internal and external customers that will benefit company objectives to maintain and increase market share. 
  • Proficient computer skills, especially with Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (advanced Excel skills preferred).  Extensive experience with MRP and ERP and other business systems (such as QAD and Oracle GCS).


Qualifications

 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inside sales and customer service. 
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
•       Aerospace Fastener industry experience
•       Aerospace industry experience
