How your typical day would go:

  • Managing a portfolio of customers to maximize cashcollection

  • Conduct pre-collection call as well as followoutstanding balance

  • Ensuring overdue invoices are collected with minimaldelay

  • Collection is performed via phone and emails,
  • Follow incoming payments and provide AccountsReceivables sufficient information for cash application

  • Handle held orders
  • Administrational duties include record keeping,archiving, reporting

  • Resolving customer queries
  • Liaise with Location/Sales contacts to resolvecommercial discrepancy and or credit problems

  • Help to promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Escalating problems to Credit Manager
  • Assure compliance to Arconic’s control objectives.

  • Background in financial principles normally acquiredthrough formal secondary level of education or work experience in similarpositions for minimum 2 years.

  • Tertiary level education in Accounting, Finance,Economics or Trade is an advantage

  • Understanding financial impact of payment delays.
  • Adaptation to working in afternoon shift is required due to different time zones
  • Languages: fluency in English
  • Good computer and typing skills. Administrativeskills.

  • Ability to work independently, set own prioritiesand organize the daily work in the most efficient manner.

  • Analytical thinking and good problem-solving skillsare required

  • Clear criminal records are required, request forcertificate will be processed by the company
