This position provides an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who desires additional career growth within Arconic. We are seeking a strong financial leader to manage the compliance function across the Business Unit , 33 locations in 3 continents.
This position provides an opportunity to work closely with finance, procurement, human resources, and engineering personnel at all levels of the organizations as well as other members of the plant and BU leadership team. We are seeking a self-motivated professional with a high degree of autonomy and integrity to assume this position, which will report to the VP of finance.
 
Key responsibilities will include
           
-       Providing training and support for Arconic ASAT requirements and systems
-       Engage BU leadership and report to the business unit leadership on deficiencies in the control environment and recommendations on what the business needs in order to address control deficiencies in a timely manner
-       Propose and implement strategies to continue, solidify and improve the finance controls of the Business Unit
-       Conducting reviews of location internal controls and supporting locations when independent audits are performed
-       Approving and managing global business cases to ensure compliance with segregation of duties requirement
-       Benchmark work processes with other organizations; lead the organization into adopting and standardization best practices
-       Completing HQ ASAT and centralized ASAT requirements
-       Monitoring ASAT completion for all disciplines and complying with Group reporting requirements.
-       Performing access and security reviews for HQ network drives and SharePoint sites
-       Serving as the AEN Records Coordinator, responsible for record retention initiatives
-       Coordinating and conducting training for newly hired controllers and other financial personnel
-       Provide independent assessment of internal control situation and recommend on improvements
-       Leveraging the use of centralized shared resources teams within Arconic
-       Build a high-performance compliance environment throughout the businesses including development plans to maintain appropriate successions in the critical BU roles
 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
 
•       Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
•       Minimum 7 years’ experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
•       Minimum 2 years Audit and/or Finance Compliance experience
•       Minimum 2 years leadership experience.
•       Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

•       Ability to work with all levels of employees throughout the entire organization.
•       Effective Communicator
•       Highly proficient in Excel
•       Cost Accounting experience preferred.
