Arconic is currently is search of a Compensation/Sales Incentive Consultant to join our Resource Unit in Pittsburgh, PA.
 
The Compensation/Sales Incentive Consultant is responsible for administration of sales incentive programs across all businesses including the management, preparation and analysis of commission payments. The position will also have duties related to administration of broad-based employee compensation programs.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Gain a thorough understanding of sales incentive plans to ensure commission calculations are in accordance with plan.
  • Interface with Business Unit Sales Management and Finance to ensure sales employees are accurately credited for sales transactions.
  • Work closely with Shared Services and business process teams to ensure accurate and timely payouts.
  • Become expert in the Callidus application used to calculate commission payouts, generate reports and compensation statements.  Provide training and guidance to users.
  • Act as first level help chain and provide superior customer service to research commission issues and/or sales discrepancies and drive to resolution.
  • Measure and monitor the performance and success of sales incentive plans by collecting feedback from participants and leaders and evaluating payout/attainment data.  Provide input/recommendations on process improvements.
  • Administer year-end pay planning process for organization, including compensation data verification, validation of calculations, generation of compensation statements and reporting, and functioning as resource to HR business partners and/or supervisors on applications and pay-planning guidelines
  • Review survey data, submit survey data, and conduct job evaluations
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise communications around compensation programs to employees and HR business partners
  • Handle ad hoc compensation and data requests by business areas and resource units
  • Research best practices to ensure compensation is competitive, effective and drive the desired business results
  • Solid experience with administering Sales Incentive and other compensation program.
  • Customers: Sales, Finance, IT, Shared Services and Human Resources organizations at the Business Unit and Group levels.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of compensation experience
  • Minimum of 3 years designing and/or administering sales incentive programs
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting from an accredited institution
  • Experience with Callidus applications a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions oriented approach to challenges.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and strong customer focus.
  • Highly organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Motivated self-starter who is able to act independently and work effectively as part of cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
