Job Description

This position is a focal point for major commercial and customer account activities and in coordination with Arconic manufacturing operations. 
Key responsibilities
  • Understand the customer’s organization, products and markets to best position Arconic to serve their needs
  • Use understanding of Arconic products and technical capabilities to identify and prioritize important business growth opportunities with the customer
  • Cultivate strong, trusting and collaborative relationships at all levels with the customer and Arconic plants 
  • Manage and support key customer and internal processes, including but not limited to:
    • Customer contract/terms and conditions maintenance and development including price and portfolio management, alloy elemental management activities, economic indices tracking and other key business items
    • Monitoring and management of on time customer pay performance in coordination with Arconic plants and Credit organization
    • Customer RFQ coordination with Arconic plants including financial analysis, business review, quote preparation, submittal and customer follow up
    • Strong, collaborative approach supporting the annual Budget/Long Range Plan process with our plants and the customer
    • Customer meeting coordination and related preparation assistance with Arconic plants
    • Effective open items tracking/resolution with Arconic plants including coordination with internal personnel to satisfy customer requirements and provide effective mediation for customer disputes



Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace market knowledge or experience
  • Experience in sales/marketing
  • Investment Castings, Coatings and Machined Components experience
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to effectively interact with all organization levels
  • Proven customer relationship abilities
  • Understanding of basic terms and conditions documents and commercial agreements
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and related computer skills
