Job Summary:Producing high quality castings by melting and pouring super alloys using both vacuum and air melt casting equipment Job Responsibilities:Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Casting / Foundry
  • Mechanical skills
  • Competent with MS Office Application / various Casting / Foundry programs
  • Self-motivated and process orientated
  • Ability to maintain very good documentation with attention to detail
  • Team oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned
Responsibilities:PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Producing high quality castings by melting and pouring super alloys using both vacuum and air melt casting equipment

  • Operating state of the art vacuum casting equipment
  • Using established processes melt and pour alloy into castings
  • Work as a chamber loaded on a routine basis
  • Trouble shoot units for maintenance related issues
  • Perform routine checks on equipment
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment
  • Completes routine paperwork as required.
  • Actively communicate daily with team members
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Basic Qualifications

Required Level Of
Education:A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which required a U.S. person status. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications

Required Prior Work Experience:
  • Vacuum casting for super alloys or foundry experience is preferred, but not required.

IMPORTANT: Employees awarded the job bids must go through a 6-month training period. Pay / NES Salary Grade will be determined based on skills / qualifications / completion of training.
