How your typical day would go:

  • The role is responsible for US standard buying activities,including buyers, on time delivery and PO customer service.

  • Lead and control that requisitions are turned into PO’s in a timelymanner, all PO’s are confirmed with the supplier, and goods and services aredelivered on time and expedite.

  • Ensure that risks and issues are managed and escalated properly and actas a key customer service escalation point.

  • Collaborate across the BUY Pay team to help service the customers to thebest of our ability.

  • Review the end to end process and find opportunities for improvements toreduce overall transaction costs and increase efficiency of manual services.

  • Maintain regular contact within internal customers, evaluates andunderstands their needs, provides information concerning everyday operations.

  • Translate Procurement strategy to support procurement servicingstrategies.

  • Support requestors, stakeholders and suppliers to solve all issuesrelated to the requisitioning process.

  • Degree of supply chain, finance, accounting obtained at a college/university and/ or 3 years’ experience in complex procurement environment
  • Professional English language capabilities
  • Ability to "sell" concepts, ideas and goals
  • Stakeholder/ customer management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, positive mindset and proactive, structured way of thinking.
