Arconic Engineered Structures (AES) is seeking a business segment Master Planner.  The business segment Master Planner will report to the Global Segment Supply Chain SIOP Manager. The primary responsibilities are the delivery of the Supply Plan, and the alignment, development, and coordination of the 18 -24 month Master Supply Plan for the segment. The assigned business segment consists of 15 locations globally that represent $1B of sales revenue in Extrusion, Forgings, Investment Casting and Machining of primarily Aluminum alloys for the Aerospace, Defense, Automotive and Industrial markets.  The ideal candidate will engage stakeholders, anticipate challenges, drive capacity and throughput increases, proactively bring solutions, and champion integrity. Position Profile: Responsible for development of the business segment 18-24 Master Supply Plan at the aggregate and detailed levels with clear statement of assumptions and supporting data. Leads the monthly segment supply review process to deliver a supply plan for the SIOP process. Analyzes supply performance and collaborates with the demand and operations organizations to take appropriate actions on differences between the plan and execution.

Qualifications

Essential Functions: The Al Segment Master Planner positions within AES includes both creation of strategic vison and tactical management and execution, examples include but are not limited to:
  • Creates 3-24 month Supply Plan to support the Demand Plan
  • Develops Rough Cut Capacity Plan for E2E Supply Chain
  • Drives supply and inventory plan in monthly resolution
  • Leads Supply Review for SIOP supply consensus
  • Develops recommendations for capacity constraints
  • Develops up side/down side scenarios
  • Manages planning parameters and assumptions
  • Measures/drives improvement to Master Plan Performance
 
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
 
  • Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Leadership willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction. Demonstrated ability to train, develop, and motivate subordinates

  •Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
•Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
•This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution
•8 years’ minimum of combined experience in supply planning, supply chain/operations
•Advanced proficiency of MS Office tools
•Quantitative and qualitative data analysis including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs
•Experience leading process improvement initiatives, including leading kaizen events
