Job Description

NDT Digital Radiography Level 2 (Non-Film). Candidate must be willing to travel to any / all APP sites as requested to provide Level 2 radiography support. Duration at the site will vary and can exceed 30 days. Candidate will be stationed in Whitehall, Michigan and be available to support interpretation of Digital Radiographs in a production mode as needed. Duties shall also include learning other operations and or technologies as required. This could include but not limited to Ultrasonic Wall gage, Visual, Flourescent Penetrant, or other NDT method as defined. Shift alignment could be possible to support international APP plants.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum: Level 2 in Non-Film (Digital) Radiography with 4+ years of experience in that role in aerospace and applicable alloys. Training and certification must be in accordance with ASNT-TC-1A and NAS-410. Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications

Digital Radiography Level 2 experience obtained in similar industries will be considered. Equivalency shall be determined by Arconic’s Responsible Level 3. Experience within other Digital Radiography modalities, (i.e. Computed Radiography (CR), Automated Defect Recognition (ADR), Computed Tomography (CT)) would be beneficial in filling this position.
