This opening is with Arconic Engines – a world leader in the investment casting of super alloys, aluminum and titanium primarily for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbine markets. For more information on Arconic, visit us online at

This position reporting to the Advanced Manufacturing Technology group will be instrumental in identifying new manufacturing technology. They will be responsible for working with vendors and design teams, follow through during the build phase, and implementation of this equipment in production before handing it off to the manufacturing team.


Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution in the following disciplines preferred: Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Manufacturing.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Robotics.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in 6 axis articulating arm robotics.
  • Proficient at robot programming, I/O management, and troubleshooting robotic systems logic.
  • Experience trouble shooting mechanical systems including pneumatics, tooling issues, measurement feedback systems, and basic design robustness.
  • Basic understanding of capabilities for controls and servo systems.
  • Basic understanding of tooling and fixture design.
  • Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills.
  • Robotic equipment programming knowledge.
  • Must be PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • Experience using industrial controllers.
  • Ability to read mechanical prints and electrical prints.
