Job Summary:
Responsible for tracking attendance for all bargaining unit employees for the Hampton plants. Is responsible for the administration of all corrective actions associated with the Attendance Policy. Verifies that proper “call in” procedure is used. Works with Morningstar Health on FML absences and with Aetna in coordination of Short-Term Disability. Assists supervision with time keeping as required.
  • Manages the Hampton Absentee Control program for bargaining unit employees. Accurately tracks and monitors all absences and assesses absence occurrences with the Attendance Policy.
  • Maintains detailed records of all attendance infractions and corrective actions.
  • Monitors the status of employees within the system.
  • Manages and processes attendance for all employees at the plant.
  • Responsible for communicating and interacting with Human Resources, Supervisors and Union Leaders as required.
  • Responds to Union Leaders regarding attendance violations and provides necessary documentation.
  • Works with the Hampton Payroll Specialist, Supervisors and Team Leaders to verify that time and employee schedules are accurate within the system.
  • Administers and tracks all disciplinary actions regarding time and attendance infractions.
  • Assists Human Resources in investigations regarding attendance related issues and any corrective action.
  • Serves as primary contact for attendance and attendance related corrective actions.


  • 3 years as a Payroll Coordinator or Attendance Coordinator, or other applicable position preferably in an organized manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave, Short Term Disability, Vacation Accruals, Leave Management, etc.
  • Experience using and navigating a time and attendance system (Kronos, Workbrain, Peoplesoft, Timelink, Morningstar Health, etc.)
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
