Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work under direct supervision and guidance from supervisor and able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Works directly from shop manuals, manufactures, specifications, blueprints, and shop drawings under direction of department lead or supervisors and will exercise proficiency in reading and interpreting
  • Will work under the direction of immediate supervisor; higher labor grade machinist and/or department lead in carrying out cycle time reduction and process improvement initiatives
  • Will exercise proficiency reviewing work for completeness and quality of workmanship
  • End to machine (one/multiple) during operation to identify parts in assembly and ensure proper dimension control
  • As required, moves parts to next operation and/or performs preprocessing operation as assigned
  • Able to perform with minimal assistance statistical process control measurements and calculations
  • Operate production machinery as required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to follow established housekeeping and safety practices to maintain quality of work environment
  • Performs all work within established standards of production
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Highschool diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years of assembly experience required
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Manufacturing Aerospace Industry Experience a plus
