Arconic Fastening Systems (AFS) has an opening for an experienced Electrician looking to learn Pyrometry. Primary Purpose of the Job

The primary function of this position involves testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment as well as maintaining, repairing, replacing, adjusting, and modifying the facility's tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Must be willing to work Monday through Friday from 5am to 1:30pm
  • Coordinate activities with operations, engineering, mechanical personnel, and contract personnel
  • Perform troubleshooting as needed to identify potential or actual electrical equipment problems
  • Perform and document calibrations and surveys on multiple furnaces throughout the facility
  • Prepare list(s) of parts and suppliers for maintenance projects to order from outside vendors as needed
  • Perform and document preventative maintenance and testing on all electrical equipment according to manufacturer and/or plant requirements
  • Active involvement in ABS initiatives


Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
