Position Description:
Arconic is currently searching for an Aluminum Procurement Revert Specialist to support our Global Rolled Products (GRP) HQ business unit in Alcoa, TN. The Aluminum Procurement Revert Specialist is accountable for strategic logistics initiatives to support NA Scrap Sales and Purchasing in addition to GRP objectives toward maximizing value and utilization of revert and scrap.   
 
Responsibilities:
•         Manage strategic execution of all Arconic customer closed loop revert programs.
•         Perform as Procurement SPA for all customer revert relationship components to include but not limited to contract negotiations, logistics, pricing, PO execution, and reconciliations.
•         Lead cross-functionally among Operations, Commercial, Transportation and Third-Party Logistics partners to achieve optimized solutions in a complex supply chain.
•         Develop new closed loop customer revert designs and business case proposals in alignment with Arconic Commercial and Operational objectives.
•         Maintain and enhance KPI’s with closed loop customers and third-party logistics partners to lead gap closure strategies toward meeting or exceeding standards.
•         Facilitate implementation of inter-company scrap and revert transfers to ensure lowest cost solution.
•         Drive continuous improvement for revert utilization and initiate formal recommendations.
•         Facilitate equipment, material, and process trials with cross-functional teams from business case analysis stage through implementation to achieve BU objectives.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
•         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
•         Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Operations or Procurement 
•         Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

•         Demonstrated effectiveness working on teams
•         Demonstrated ability to operate in an advisory and collaborative role with internal and external customers.
•         Excellent written and oral communication skills
•         Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills with attention to detail
•         Ability to work independently and coach, train and energize diverse resources to develop and lead a high-performing team
•         Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
•         Understanding of Arconic’s North American Operations network
•         Solid understanding and practical application of systems analysis and technical skills
•         Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
•         Basic understanding of Logistics concepts, Procurement processes, and NA Aluminum Market
