The Accounting Manager will manage financial reporting and the day-to-day work in the Finance Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with General Accounting functions such as month end closing, financial reporting, fixed assets management, inter-company accounting.
  • Work with the Controller to plan, develop and establish accounting policies and objectives
  • Assist in monitoring and managing of day-to-day cost accounting function including Raw material, Work-in-process and Finished goods inventory management
  • Review open and close work orders to analyze and correct variances and costing errors in the system.
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly business review and Business Unit Staff meeting packages
  • Establish, modify and coordinate implementation of SOX compliant accounting practices Assist with monthly forecast, planning and budgeting as needed
  • Provide hands-on resolution of accounting issues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Minimum 5 years of Accounting experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications :
  • Prefer 7+ years of Accounting experience
  • Cost Accounting experience in Manufacturing
  • Experience with inventory and variance analysis
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Oracle and ERP system
  • Experience with GAAP
