Arconic Engines is looking for an Tooling Engineer who is responsible for design robust forging tooling concepts, designs and processes while supporting the organization to achieve established operational and financial targets. This position will be located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Generate seamless ring and open-die forging configurations for quotation.
  • Design and develop tooling for manufacture of seamless ring and open-die forgings.
  • Develop, modify, improve, and troubleshoot the processes associated with the production of seamless rolled rings and other open-die forgings.
  • Check for design continuity and conformance to standards.
  • Act as a liaison between all manufacturing departments.
  • Research present tooling practices for possible improvements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and projects.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience                                                   
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum three years of manufacturing experience. 
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to utilize CAD or similar drafting software is preferred.
