Arconic is currently in search of a Technical Project Leader, EBS Solutions to join the Global Information Systems (GIS) group in Pittsburgh, PA.
This is an experienced position for the Oracle Order-To-Cash Applications within the Global Information Services organization of Arconic.  The principle challenges of this position are to provide technical expertise to the Business Process owners; lead the global development and implementation of new solutions for the applications; provide on-going support and enhancement assistance for Order-To-Cash configuration and setups, monitor and direct off-shore resources in providing daily and monthly support and development; ensure Arconic’s standards and procedures are followed.  The incumbent will act as an internal consultant to Arconic’s businesses and various customer groups and the primary application accountabilities are with Oracle EBS Order Management, Shipping, Invoicing, Manufacturing, and OAPS (Advanced Supply Chain Planning / ASCP).

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work alone or as part of a team to develop, implement, evaluate, procure, and/or support computer systems and information solutions that meet the needs of the customer and add the most value to the company.  This is to be accomplished by utilizing technically sound methods of investigation, analysis, design, planning, and scheduling
  • Manage the reactionary support and/or preventive maintenance process for the systems or technologies
  • Provide advice and counsel to the customers of the systems or technologies in assigned area(s) of responsibility, and to other GIS personnel
  • Serve as the technical lead for Oracle EBS, ensuring all changes are in compliance with both Oracle and Arconic policies and standards
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business processes or technologies in area(s) of assignment; participate in, and perform the analysis of the customer's processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure that project management, change management, and compliance processes are understood and followed - Operate within Arconic IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT standards
  • Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in job requirements, changes in technology, changes in the organization, and changes in the company (i.e., Business Units and Resource Units)
  • In addition to individual priorities, manage multiple system services or multiple larger projects including project estimates, status communications, and schedules; monitor the plans including periodic review with those managing the day-to-day activities; manage the process established for emergency system and project support; direct the day-to-day activity for the team
  • Lead the discovery, planning and implementation of process improvements for individual tasks and in the work team



Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Information Systems
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship not available for this position
 Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle EBS R12, databases, PL/SQL, and SQL
  • ​Functional knowledge of Oracle’s Order to Cash EBS suite to support configuration, setups, and enhancement activities
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively interact with business customers and other members of GIS.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding and practical application of systems analysis and technical skills.
  • Possess leadership ability; effective oral and written communication skills; possess organization, planning and decision-making abilities, good analytical skills, project management abilities, and be creative and a competent team builder.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and experience with support and implementation of Oracle Applications, especially within the Order Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain applications.
  • Technical knowledge of Oracle’s application module programming requirements and standards
  • Must be able to provide work direction to development and support personnel
