Arconic is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant/HR Business Partner to support our Resource Unit organizations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The Talent Acquisition Consultant/HR Generalist will play an instrumental part in adding critical positions to our staff, supporting our Corporate employee population and identifying ways to improve our processes. This role is also responsible for aligning people and business objectives within the Arconic’s Corporate Resource Units.
Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
  • Provide Business-Based HR Support for one or more customers within the Corporate Resource Units
  • Foster a positive employee relations environment, including team building and effective communications
  • Create a diverse workforce and inclusive environment.
  • Improve HR practices and processes continually, leveraging information systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Provide guidance and input on restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Assist with investigations of alleged discrimination and ethics violations as needed; recommends and implements appropriate corrective actions.
  • Actively engage as a change agent in support of business priorities to build high performing, effective teams.
  • Support Performance Management and Compensation Planning efforts.
  • Work with leadership to make relevant modifications to new or existing policies and procedures via creation, documentation, & maintenance of standard policies.  
  • Assist with relocation and visa initiatives for Corporate population.
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal employment law and with Arconic policies and procedures.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience recruiting for technical or non-technical positions.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources (HR) experience.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience recruiting for technical and non-technical positions.
  • Experience working with OFCCP hiring policies and guidelines.
  • Experience working with one or more Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Taleo preferred.
  • Experience with talent acquisition data analytics.
  • Possess advanced sourcing skills finding passive candidates for critical employee skill sets.
  • Leading and mentoring team members and special projects.
