Job Description

Job Summary: •Responsible for receiving and maintaining control of inventory and delivered goods. Prepares sheets for shipment to customers including crating, identifying, and shipping. Marking, weighing, and packaging of titanium sheets based on customer specifications for 5010. Fundamental Duties: •Load, unload and move materials from within shipping and receiving, plant, yard, storage areas or work sites to designated areas using forklift and/or delivery vehicle. •Receive and verify incoming orders. •Receive and verify delivered goods and distribute such goods promptly to correct drop off zones. •Maintain control of inventory and delivered goods. •Maintain organization and documentation of material and delivered goods. •Check all material and delivered goods for damages and/or shortages and report to supervisor. •Examines sheets and verifies that they match the paperwork. •Package sheets and weigh the skid for shipping process. •Verify correct lab release is for the order to review and understand the production order. •Label product to customer specifications. •Employee will be expected to handle waste material properly and ensure proper container, labeling, storage and shipping procedures are followed per the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Alcoa Titanium Engineering Product (ATEP) procedures. •Train department helpers and new employees with comprehension of process. •Other duties as assigned Skill & Competency Requirements: •Specific vision abilities required to include close/distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus •Must work a full-time schedule and overtime as required •Must obtain and maintain a forklift license •Required to read and interpret production orders and safety, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals •Must have problem solving skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work with others •Well organized •Must have basic knowledge of math, math equations, and use of various measuring instruments •Accurate and attentive to detail •Computer experience (Word, Excel, SAP)


Basic Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
